How to leverage your self-belief

I was asked recently, what fuels my dreams and visions?  I love good questions. I think it begins with supportive family members but it doesn’t need to be that way.  When I was in high school I had a teacher named Randy Zeagman.  Randy took an interest in me and…

Overactivity is violence to the soul, stillness is sweet

Last March I took three days off and went on a retreat.  My good friends  Scot and Barb offered me their cabin in the woods.  It was a great three days of reflection.  My good buddy Ken Stouffer and I at least once a year take off and get away…

Triumph follows struggle

I will use our story of our bike ride across Nicaragua to shed some light on how doubt may confound us.  It begins with an idea; it may come from within or someone might share it with you.  In my case the idea of the bike ride came from a…

Great potential is threatened by bad self talk, and leads to unfulfilled dreams

I have many great memories about climbing Mt. Salkantay, but one stands out more than any other.  It was the end of the first day of climbing.  It was around 5:30 or 6:00 and we had just put up our tents.  The sun was setting, the wind  blowing fiercely and…

  • About Vince

I have spent the greater part of my 25 years of vocation as a small business entrepreneur. The last 15 years have been spent as well as consultant for the C&MA and most recently as the International Director of a micro-finance charity I founded in Latin America. My experiences include surviving a plane crash in the jungles of Papua to being lost in the rain forest of Ecuador. My work has demanded my travel and involvement in a number of cultures and countries and I would describe my present situation as that of a third-culture-executive.
