National spokesperson

Diana Bishop is president of Cilla Productions Inc and creator of The Success Story Program which helps leaders in business, politics, health care and not for profit shape their identities, raise their profiles and become authentic communicators and experts in their field.

In her more than 20 years as a TV news correspondent, Diana Bishop has had a journalism career that has taken her far and wide. As a result, Diana has established an impressive network of global contacts.

She has interviewed presidents and prime ministers, covered major national and international news events and specialized in the internal workings of Canadian politics and foreign policy.

Diana became aquainted with The Lending Journey almost two years ago through a friend.  After a number of meetings between Diana and Vince a strong friendship began to develop and within a year Diana was a member of the Board of Directors.  In 2011 Diana took part in a three city tour of Ecuador and Nicaragua and was awestruck by the number of women she met whose lives were being changed by loans they had received from The David/Jonathan Project.

In 2011, Diana accepted the position as National Spokesperson for The  Lending Journey.  Her first duty took place at our 1st Annual Fundraiser and shared her experiences as a board member, a donor and a participant in a Lending Journey Tour.  We are blessed to have Diana on our team as our National Spokesperson.

Diana has also produced several documentaries, and most recently wrote, narrated and produced a one-hour documentary for Global Television entitled A Hero To Me exploring the legacy of her famous grandfather and Canadian icon World War One flying ace Billy Bishop.
