The Lending Journey is now a book.
Vince Vetro, entrepreneur, consultant, and coach, founded The Lending Journey, a charity working in Latin America that enables women to regain dignity and independence through microloans. In his memoir, Vince tells his journey of coming to discover his life’s calling working among the world’s poorest.
The book features almost 40 photos illustrating Vince’s journey from his roots in a family that served as foster parents to countless children, through his life as an entrepreneur in the business world and an awakened calling to assist providing social justice to women in third-world Ecuador and Nicaragua, a passion that he has dedicated his life to.
Co-written with Jan Sawczak in 2016 as a companion to the documentary Sisyphus Rides about Vince’s fundraising bike ride through Nicaragua, The Lending Journey is a poignant and inspiring memoir of one man’s life helping some of the poorest people in the world.

“Masterfully spins the reader through a mountainous journey of adventure, courage and seeming defeat… What captures your heart is the rawness of his humanity as he tries to blend two divergent roads of success and sustainability. Don’t read this book if you don’t want to wrestle with your own heart and humanity.”
