This is the story of Janeth Lumbi who lives in San Benito. After 18 years of marriage, Janeth, at 43 years of age was abandoned by her husband and left to care for her three children. As a single mother she was suddenly faced with the difficult challenge of supporting herself and her family. Janeth received a $300.00 loan from The Lending Journey and with this she started her own Avon business. She has invested her monies in purchasing many products that she is able to sell for profit. Just recently she has also started making bedding which she also offers to sell to her customers.
Currently Janeth is struggling with pain and range of motion in one of her legs. Due to this she was rejected by other banks in Managua to receive a loan. She is very grateful to The Lending Journey for their support.
