This month’s story is of Juana Ruiz. She is 41 years old, married and has three sons. She lives in the small community of Monte Fresco.
Initially, Juana was interested in selling Bibles to the people in the congregation of the Church where she presently attends. When she was introduced to The Lending Journey and was approved for a loan, she made the decision to work in the Eastern Market which is located in Managua. There she prepares food upon order which she then delivers to her clients. It is her vision to open a restaurant some day as the demand from her clients is ever increasing.
Juana says she thanks God for the opportunity The Lending Journey has given to her in starting this business. To The Lending Journey itself she says “Thank you for supporting women entrepreneurs like me. We want to have greater improvement in our lives. May you and those who sponsor in Canada receive many blessings of God. ”
